Show Details
On the February 2012 edition of the "In Touch with Durham County Show," the show's host, Deborah Craig-Ray, and Michael Page sat down with Kevin Underhill, quality assurance coordinator for Durham County Emergency Medical Services, and Dr. Jamie Jollis, professor of Medicine and Radiology and cardiologist for the Duke University Medical Center, to discuss the Save-A-Life Program. The program involving the collaborative efforts of Durham's first responders and Duke University Medical Center, works to urge the residents to receive CPR training and take action when witnessing Sudden Cardiac Arrest. The program's goal is to reduce the number of deaths due to Sudden Cardiac Arrest by encouraging bystanders with proper training to use their life-saving training.
